Baron de Ley Finca Monasterio 0.75L
This wine has a beautiful red cherry colour with high intensity and its seductive nose offers a massive display of black ripe fruits and traces of roasted coffee and cream that evolves into more spicy tones. Round, soft tannins give way to a long and balanced finish, with plenty of fruit and delicate toasted notes. The grapes are sourced exclusively from vineyards surrounding a 16th Century Benedictine monastery in the Rioja Baja town of Mendavia.
•A big, fruit filled, well structured wine made using Tempranillo.
•From Penedes in north east Spain, just south of Barcelona.
•Perfect with cured meats, paellas and vegetable rice dishes, as well as meat and game recipes or when finishing a meal with cheeses.
