Reserva has a voluminous and powerful taste, with bright fruit notes, ripe tannins, a pleasant acidity and a long fruity aftertaste. The bouquet of the spirit reveals intense tones of ripe dark fruits, exotic coconut, sweet toffee and herbs. It is recommended to drink with dishes of meat, game and pasta.
Baron de Ley winery was founded in 1985 on the estate Imas, which belonged to the Benedictine monastic order. The initiators of the establishment of the company has become a group of winemakers from Rioja, for which the production of wine was a real art. Their main goal was to set up production of Burgundy wines which would be grown only in the Rioja region.
